My interest in the field of tourism is deeply rooted and was significantly sparked during my time at Mumbai University when I attended a travel seminar. This experience left a lasting impression on me, solidifying my passion for the industry. Subsequently, after completing my graduation, I pursued IATA certification to become a professional travel consultant. Embarking on my career, I initially joined Air India where I assisted USA and Canadian guests in booking tickets, managing changes, cancellations, and handling various ancillary services. Working at Mumbai Airport, one of the busiest airports globally, was an incredible experience. However, due to my primary interest in being a travel advisor, I transitioned away from my airport role and ventured into the corporate travel sector. Over the course of a decade, I had the privilege of working with Gilpin Travel, a multinational company in Mumbai, serving as a Senior Travel Consultant for prominent corporate clients such as Marriott, Anchor Electronic, Shoppers Stop, and Bharat Petroleum. My journey as a Canada Travel Consultant commenced with Merit Travel, where I concurrently pursued an MBA while contributing to the travel needs of Save On Foods Loyalty members. Currently, I am delighted to have completed eight fulfilling months with Odenza. Travel is not just a profession for me; it is my passion. Successfully planning personal and friends' trips alongside my professional responsibilities has been a rewarding aspect of my journey.
